This week I felt a whole stack of shifts.
Things have changed.
My mindset has changed.
Moving no longer feels lethargic and sluggish, I wanna be outside – yeah the sun has been shining so that absolutely helps BUT equally I’m feeling it.
I do feel tired and stiff from time to time.
It’s been the Easter weekend following week 2 of this recorded training journey.
✔️ I’ve recorded my longest run of a massive (I totally know it’s not) 6 miles
✔️ I’ve hit 2 1/2 stones lost now (35 lbs)
✔️ I have the first stage of my plan in place to move from 5k fit through to 1/2 marathon fit for September – I’m going to enter Redcar Half Marathon as my first longer distance test.
✔️ Mindset is super focused
✔️ A ParkRun PB this week
I reckon that so often we sneak through weeks/months and never actually take a moment to look at the stuff we’ve achieved and those little ✔️ ticks that show that progress.
I’d highly recomend a little self gratitude/achievements list regularly (weekly or monthly) to see how much you have achieved.
My intentions for the week ahead = more of the same.
I want to explore some trail running shoes and I’m going to need some new running kit as this lot isn’t fitting anymore.
