As I sat down to write this I thought “well, my training has been fairly uneventful this week.” It’s been a bit of a week, lots to navigate and lots coming up, lots going on and the likes. In week’s like that training can be such a sanctuary. A time of normality, a time to think (or not), a time to process (or ignore) ~ it literally can be whatever you need it to be.
Being accoutable for keeping up my strength training has really helped with 2 solid session again this week. Getting stronger is going to have a massive impact on my running and that commitment (which I’m not in love) is something I will continue. I can’t let it slide!
This week I also won a competition with XMilesUK for a Unived Elite Package – nutrition for my long training runs. I’m looking forward to trying it out on my marathon build up.
I need to make some decisions on my incoming races too so that I can start to plan the nitty gritty end of marathon training.
So, here’s how the week’s panned out;

This week I have a plan that takes the normal cycle. I HAVE TO decide on my races this week (me being accountable again). The kids are off school Monday, apparently they need another day off and the excuse is Platty Jubes apparently!
Hope you have a great week!
