Weight Loss – How To Do It

Let’s talked about how I got from left to right.

This is my actual weight loss graph in the tracking app that I use. It shows my journey. It shows the beginnings of my half arsed attempt in 2018 and then it shows exactly where I went full ass in in 2019 and the difference that that made to the graph.

It took me a year of being all in and then I’ve maintained my weight (in a couple of lbs range) since hitting 6 & 1/2 stone weight loss.

What’s the difference in the half arsed and then all in sections? MINDSET!!! I decision to back myself, the decision to educate myself, the decision that it was important, the decision to get up each day and see what I could achieve.

What do I know now for sure;

1️⃣ Your mindset is EVERYTHING and whether you think you can or you think you can’t then you’re right.

2️⃣ The person you need to be accountable to is YOU!

3️⃣ It ain’t super complicated nor do you have to invest a stack of money in “products” or other fads that claim to assist you.

4️⃣ Hydration is ridiculously important

5️⃣ Sleep & rest is so so so important

6️⃣ You NEVER need to feel deprived

7️⃣ I lost weight on my plate

8️⃣ Prioritise moving your ass

9️⃣ Education and empowerment = longevity

🔟 You have to navigate tricky days and times where it would be easy to revert to what you believe are your factory settings but you need to remember you’ve changed those settings.

I love that I now get to help, inspire and support others to navigate their story too.
